“Yes, you can drink the water”

Visitors to the Wairamarama Community Hall no longer need to drink bottled water. Thanks to a grant from the North Island Weather Events (NIWE) Resilience Fund, we were recently able to upgrade the hall facilities to include a water filtration unit.

Wairamarama local, Jared Van der Vyver of Restored Water, specialises in water filtration systems to provide residential and rural properties with safe, drinkable water.

Our community now has access to clean water; especially important if the hall is ever needed as an emergency hub.
