We’ve put together a handy guide of local services to help our community with life’s admin in the Wairamarama.

H and Carla Hira are our rural mail contractors. They deliver mail Monday-Friday and collect pre-paid packages booked through the NZ Post website. Note that the rural delivery service can add a day or two to delivery and collection times; it’s not as quick as living in urban areas.

The Waikato District Council provides varied rubbish and recycling services to the Wairamarama depending on the location of your property. Most members of the community who live on our tarsealed roads will enjoy a weekly rubbish and recycling collection, while those who live further from civilization will have to make use of the monthly Glen Murray recycling drop off and transfer stations.
